IBM claims breakthrough on carbon nanotubes

The roadmap is pretty clear down to around 7nm, but after that things get fuzzy. One of the leading candidates to replace silicon CMOS transistors is carbon nanotubes. But there are still lots of issues with both the basic materials and device structure. Now IBM says it has solved one of the big ones.
